Construction recently began on the 2022-23 Street Rehabilitation Project funded by San Bruno voter approved Measure G. This project repairs portions of existing pavement and prevents rapid deterioration to maximize longevity at various locations. The project includes pavement grinding, base repairs, asphalt concrete overlay, replacing concrete sidewalk and curb & gutter areas, installing accessible curb ramps, rerouting and replacing storm drain facilities (pipes and catch basins), and restriping pavement markings. Street Rehabilitation locations are provided in the link below.
Construction officially began earlier this month and is anticipated to last until Summer 2024. Project work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on residential streets and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. along San Bruno Avenue, San Mateo Avenue, and Sneath Lane (excluding holidays).
Your patience is appreciated during construction, and as always, please remember to slow down and use caution in and around the construction zone.
