Contact: Matthew Pi 916-690-6552 matthewp@csgengr.com

Overview

The Acappella Well Project will replace an inactive well located at Commodore Park to maintain the City’s ability to produce water and meet its water supply needs, particularly during drought years. The new well will provide safe drinking water and will help control costs by reducing City’s reliance on expensive SFPUC water. The project scope will be completed in two phases. Phase I consists of the design and construction of the new production well and destruction of the inactive well. This includes the drilling of the production borehole and installation of the well sump, well screen, well casing, and conductor casing. Phase II will include the construction of the well pump station and facilities.

A community meeting for Phase I will be held at San Bruno City Hall, 567 El Camino Real, San Burno on Thursday, May-29,2025 at 6:00PM – 7:00PM to advise community members of project-related construction impacts and obtain comments and feedback. For Zoom video conference or dial-in options, please see Notice of Project Meeting in: Project Materials.
