GREAT NEWS FOR LIBBY EBOOK USERS...PLS cardholders can now access Partner Libraries! The Peninsula Library System (PLS) is now part of an agreement with two institutions in sharing access to our Overdrive/Libby collections. You can also access the collections via your Internet browser.

Attention, OverDrive app users! OverDrive is discontinuing the legacy OverDrive app on April 30, 2023 and transitioning users to the Libby app. Libby is OverDrive’s newer app for browsing and enjoying digital content from our library.
It’s time to give Libby a try! All your loans, holds, and wish list items will be waiting for you in Libby when you add your library card.
Libby also comes with new features we know you’ll love, like:
- Tags to categorize books however you’d like—you can even sync your OverDrive wish list into a tag!
- A central bookshelf for all loans and holds
- Customizable notifications for ready holds, new magazine issues and more
- Compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Sonos speakers

340 classic adult and children's novels, always available to read (no waitlists!). Download the San Bruno Public Library app from your app store (search "San Bruno Library") to your smartphone or tablet. Open the app and tap on Classic Reads to see the selection of titles. Select a book by tapping the cover image, tap download, and begin to read. The book will be stored in "My Bookshelf" for you to return to until you are done. Once you have completed your book, tap "Return."
