Administrative Services

City Attorney

The City Council appoints the City Attorney to serve as "corporate" legal counsel to the City as an entity and advises the City Council and City staff on a broad range of municipal issues.

City Clerk

The City Clerk’s Office is the front-line interface with local government and city residents.

City Manager

In accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Code, the City Manager is responsible for preparing and managing the implementation of the City Council’s Adopted Annual Operating and Capital Improvement Program budgets which outline the City’s annual work program and the five year capital improvement program.

Community Development

The Community and Economic Development Department provides efficient and pro-active customer service to enhance the safety and quality of life for all citizens and acts as a catalyst for innovative economic development and public policy development.

Community Services

The Community Services Department is committed to providing quality programs, services, and spaces to benefit the health and well-being of the community through the delivery of recreation, senior, and library services and the maintenance of City parks and facilities.

Fire

The San Bruno Fire Department is an organization dedicated to the protection of health, life and property of all persons in the City of San Bruno.

Police

The San Bruno Police Department is a full-service municipal police agency for a city of approximately 42,000 people, located in northern San Mateo County, California.

Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the overall planning, maintenance, operation and improvement of public infrastructure, including streets, storm drainage, wastewater collections, drinking water storage and distribution, and groundwater well production.
